I recreated an old magazine Ad / CD-ROM cover in Blender. This is probably the most fun I’ve had in Blender so far (more than PS1-like modeling which is my favorite). The old reference cover was posted by @moshboy.
The trickiest part for me was getting configuring the camera and getting the right angle and the focal length, to mimic the old cover.
Instant Meshes was also involved, to crush down Rodin’s statue from 800K tris down to 25K. I then baked the high poly details into a normal map.
